What is collected, and when
The extension does not run in the background and reads nothing until you click its icon and then press the summarise button. Only at that moment does it read, from the page you have open, the text of the messages or comments, the author names displayed next to them, and the timestamps shown. It does not read passwords, does not access your browsing history, does not read other tabs, and cannot send messages on your behalf.
Where it goes

The processing itself is performed by OpenAI and is subject to their policy: openai.com/policies/privacy-policy.
What is stored

| Your API key | If you enter a personal OpenAI key, it is stored locally in your browser only and is sent solely to OpenAI. It is never sent to the proxy server. |
| On the proxy | A quota counter and nothing else: random install id + date → number of
summaries. It is deleted automatically after two days. The installation identifier is a random value
generated on your own machine; it is not linked to your identity, your account or your email address. |
What does not happen
No data is sold or rented. Nothing is shared with advertisers. There is no cross-site tracking, no user profile, and your content is not used to train any model of ours. The extension contains no third-party analytics.
Something you should know
When you summarise a group conversation, the messages of the other participants are included in the summary and are processed along with your own. Please consider this before summarising sensitive conversations, and follow the norms and expectations of the group you are in.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13. A content filter for readers under 18 is available; it affects only the wording of the generated summary and is not a parental-control mechanism.
